2024 Elite 11 Finals: Ranking the top 11 QBs following Day 2 of competition (2024)

Notre Dame commit Deuce Knight had the throw of the night while Ohio State commit Tavien St. Clair, Alabama commit Keelon Russell and Texas A&M commit Husan Longstreet continued to look the part.

MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. – The second day of the Elite 11 Finals wrapped up Wednesday night as the 20 quarterbacks went through the Vicis Pro Day and the Panini Accuracy Challenge at Mira Costa High. The pro day script called for 20 throws to moving targets in an 8-minute window while the accuracy challenge asked the quarterbacks to hit seven different stationary targets. Below we rank our top 11 quarterbacks following the first two sessions of the three-day event.

Alpha Dog: Tavien St. Clair (Ohio State commit)

2024 Elite 11 Finals: Ranking the top 11 QBs following Day 2 of competition (2)

Top247:No. 2 QB, No. 2 overall

Tavien St. Clairremains at the top of our board after another impressive outing. He posted the highest score in the accuracy challenge and tied for our fourth-highest score in the pro day at 41 points (three points for a dime, two points for a good throw, one point for a catchable ball). St. Clair is an extremely fluid mover at 6-foot-4, 225 pounds that is able to make a variety of different high-level throws look easy. The Elite 11 staff has raved about how the No. 2-ranked prospect in the Top247 carries himself both on and off the field.

2. Keelon Russell (Alabama commit)

2024 Elite 11 Finals: Ranking the top 11 QBs following Day 2 of competition (3)

Top247: No. 7 QB, No. 39 overall

Keelon Russell also scored a 41 for us during his pro day. A limber athlete, Russell plays with plenty of energy. He flashed the ability to not only dial up the velocity, but also layer the football when needed. Russell might be the second-youngest signal caller in attendance, but he looks like one of the top passers in the class through two days.

3. Husan Longstreet (Texas A&M commit)

2024 Elite 11 Finals: Ranking the top 11 QBs following Day 2 of competition (4)

Top247:No. 4 QB, No. 28 overall

We were impressed with Husan Longstreet's ability to climb and put a football on the would-be facemask of his targets. He too posted a 41 for his pro day in our scoring system. What makes Wednesday's performance even more impressive is the fact that he's dealing with an injury in his lower half and doesn't appear to be 100 percent.

4. Deuce Knight (Notre Dame commit)

2024 Elite 11 Finals: Ranking the top 11 QBs following Day 2 of competition (5)

Top247:No. 8 QB, No. 66 overall

Deuce Knight had the second-best pro day score for the Elite 11 coaches. We thought he had the throw of the night as the lefty dropped a beautiful deep shot down the sidelines after being asked to roll right and throw across his body. Knight has been viewed as a streaky passer, but he continues to stack encouraging exposures together.

5. Ryan Montgomery (Georgia commit)

2024 Elite 11 Finals: Ranking the top 11 QBs following Day 2 of competition (6)

Top247:No. 10 QB, No. 144 overall

A full-field reader, Ryan Montgomery probably doesn't get enough credit for how athletic he really is as he showcased the ability to accurately hit his marks on the move. He scored in the middle of the pack in both events Wednesday after a favorable session Tuesday. Montgomery might not have as many limitations as we initially thought.

6. Tramell Jones Jr. (FSU commit)

2024 Elite 11 Finals: Ranking the top 11 QBs following Day 2 of competition (7)

Top247: No. 21 QB

Solid. That's the word to describe how Tramell Jones Jr. has looked through two days. He had our highest pro day total at 44 points as he threw with both touch and pace. Jones has plenty of experience playing 7-on-7 football, which could have him primed to make noise on Thursday as coverages and deception come into play on the final day.

7. Julian Lewis (USC commit)

2024 Elite 11 Finals: Ranking the top 11 QBs following Day 2 of competition (8)

Top247:No. 3 QB, No. 16 overall

In our eyes, no one had a bigger rebound from the opening workout than Julian Lewis, who had the Elite 11's best pro day score and the second-best sum for the accuracy challenge. Lewis marched down the field firing catchable balls and never really got out of rhythm, which isn't surprising given what we have seen in the past from Lewis.

8. Matt Zollers (Missouri commit)

2024 Elite 11 Finals: Ranking the top 11 QBs following Day 2 of competition (9)

Top247:No. 6 QB, No. 34 overall

There were some peaks and valleys for Matt Zollers on Thursday. He was in the upper half of the standings for the accuracy challenge, but was near the back of the pack for the pro day. Zollers has plenty of natural arm talent and can touch all different corners of the field, but is going to need plenty of seasoning before he's ready to go.

9. Bryce Baker (North Carolina commit)

2024 Elite 11 Finals: Ranking the top 11 QBs following Day 2 of competition (10)

Top247:No. 34 QB

Similar to Tramell Jones, Bryce Baker's body of work over the last two days has been nothing short of consistent. The dual-threat talent offers one of the highest floors of all the signal callers in attendance and he's firmly put himself in the conversation for a potential fourth-star as there's a little more to the player than the junior tape shows.

10. KJ Lacey (Texas commit)

2024 Elite 11 Finals: Ranking the top 11 QBs following Day 2 of competition (11)

Top247:No. 13 QB, No. 179 overall

A top performer on Tuesday, the energetic KJ Lacey finished third in the accuracy challenge on Wednesday. We have described him in the past as a point guard and continue to view him through that lens as he can change speeds and throw with tempo while also squeezing the ball into tight windows.

11. Malik Washington (Uncommitted)

2024 Elite 11 Finals: Ranking the top 11 QBs following Day 2 of competition (12)

Top247: No. 14 QB, No. 180 overall

A newcomer to our top group of quarterbacks, Malik Washington showed that he's not just easy on the eyes as we were impressed with his ball placement and RPMs in both drills. Washington has been a winner at the prep level and he looks like someone who finds success early at a school like Maryland, who leads on the 247Sports' Crystal Ball.

Cooper Petagna, Greg Biggins, Blair Angulo, Tom Loy and Bud Elliott of 247Sports all contributed to this report.
