Nikkita Lyons may have only been in WWE for a few years, but she has had a turbulent time in the company. Unfortunately, Lyons has been sidelined by two long-term injures, halting her career more than once. Although Nikkita Lyons hasn’t been in WWE developmental for too long, WWE announced her main roster debut last year. The Women’s Tag Team Championships had been vacant ever since Naomi and Sasha Banks walked out of WWE a few months prior, and a tournament was announced to crown new champions. Lyons was set to team with Zoey Stark and represent NXT in the tournament.
However, due to a supposed concussion and travel restrictions, Lyons was unable to compete on the advertised date and the pair were pulled from competing. Lyons has yet to make an appearance on Raw or SmackDown since.
