Biography[]

Serial Designation N, commonly known as N, is the deuteragonist of Murder Drones.

He is a surprisingly a wholesome Disassembly Drone who wishes to be useful by getting the job done, but is often being told by his team members, especially Serial Designation J, that he is useless and terrible, which results in him receiving little to no respect from his commander or his dismissive love interest, Serial Designation V.

Originally he was deployed to Copper 9 as part of J's squad, being the pilot of the aircraft that crashed onto the planet, but after meeting Uzi, and after some altercations erupted between him, her, his co-workers and the colony, he ultimately questions his loyalty to the company and his directive of hunting the Worker Drones before helping Uzi to stop J and V from killing her people. However, N and Uzi are soon plunged into new mysteries and the emergence of a new threats such as the AbsoluteSolver and its bio-mechanical abominations such as Eldritch J, the cannibalistic Worker Drone named Doll and even Uzi herself.

We learn that N has also experienced massive amounts of trauma, Cyn presumably being the cause.

Profile[]

Appearance[]

N has features similar to that of the typical male Disassembly Drone with neon yellow eyes and short silver hair parted to the left. Like other Murder Drones, he has four-fingered hands, a black headband with five sections of lights on it, and a long black tail ending in a large syringe, the headband and syringe both containing a neon yellow liquid inside. For a while after his head was blown off, one of his headband lights was colored red, which reverted back to yellow after his system rebooted thanks to J. He wears a black winter coat with a fur collar and a black cap.

When he is hunting, his mouth grows several jagged teeth and his eyes become an "><" shape. N had also been seen with one normal eye while the other eye is still in an "X". It is also possible for his visor to display a pair of sunglasses as well. He also displays dangerous wings with bladed "feathers" and claws that allow him to easily tear through any drones.

Personality[]

N is kind, timid, also socially awkward and caring. He wanted to be friends with or at least be accepted and acknowledged by his squad, but because of his naïve and good-natured personality, he ends up being ostracized.

Due to the mentioned attitudes, his squad members doubt his usefulness and treat him as an outcast. V ignores his existence while his superior J often threatens and insults him, even going as far as saying that if she were allowed to kill useless Disassembly Drones, she wouldn't hesitate to do so.

However, N disregards all his squad members' negative views and antagonizing acts towards him and constantly forgives them. He even goes as far as protecting them as shown when he went to kill Uzi before she could use her railgun to kill the Murder Drones.

At the beginning, N revealed that he had a crush for his disassembly drone teammate V. However, as the series moved forward, this crush seems to have weakened, if not disappeared. Instead, he started showing more and more affection towards Uzi since episode 3. Nevertheless, he seems not to want to be more than friends with her.

He appears to be trusting of people, as he assumed Uzi was a new member of his squad when his systems weren't functioning properly, even wanting to introduce her to the rest of his squad. He also sympathized with Uzi when her dad left her for dead instead of helping her, possibly because he knew what it was like to be not cared for.

Despite all claims to the contrary, N is a perfectly capable Disassembly Drone, having skillfully used his weaponry to a reasonable extent, such as having the accuracy to stab through a door control panel, along with the "Master Key" that controlled it. He also is remarkably perceptive and intelligent, having managed to spot Uzi even after she made little to no noise, and acknowledged the threat posed by Uzi's railgun to the Murder Drones.

N can use his wings to fly.

Corrosive Nanite Acid[]

The syringe in his tail contains nanite acid, of which eats away the metal of a drone.

Weaponry mastery[]

N is armed with a variety of weapons, claw hands, chainsaw hands, blade hands, grenade launcher, shurikens, missile launcher, laser cannon.

Healing Saliva[]

N's Saliva is capable of healing and neutralizing Nanite Acid wounds.

Efficient Regeneration[]

N's regeneration is rather high, as he was capable of fully regenerating a blast from Uzi's railgun while J was killed.

Weapon proficiency[]

Aside from the above N has also been depicted using a bow in the 4th episode cabin fever, of which he uses with unnatural accuracy.

EMP Immunity[]

N is immune to the effect of Electromagnetic Pulse's.

Relationships[]

Serial Designation J (Former boss)[]

N used to work under J when the first got to copper 9 and worked with her until Uzi convinced him otherwise.

Serial Designation V (Crush/Ally)[]

N at the start of the show stated he had a crush on V despite her treating him poorly and being incapable of even remembering him, since than though he has been depicted standing against V, preventing her from causing trouble and even defending Uzi, going as far as striking her with his blade hand.

Uzi Doorman (Friend)[]

Uzi is N's friend, despite trying to kill her when they first met since than the two have developed an incredibly close bond.

Cyn (Sister figure)[]

N has referred to Cyn as "Sis" and "Lil' sis", depicting them to have a brother sister relationship, N cares greatly for Cyn and even tries to spare her feelings when he has to inform her that they may be unable to attend the gala.

Tessa Elliot (Friend)[]

Tessa is the one who found the workers that reside at Elliot manor, she treats the drones like friends and as pets, N presumably being her favorite.

Trivia[]

• N appears to have a fascination with branded pens, possibly because of the clicking sound made from its retraction
• N apparently is not hesitant to lick or use his tongue on things. He was willing to let Uzi put her hand in his mouth to heal her nanite wound, and resorted to licking V's blade hand when they were in a blade lock, much to the latter's disgust. Both times he uses the word "repressed"
• During his system reboot that was initiated by J's slap, N was shown to possess the character trait "Lovable Idiot"
• According to V, N has made friends with rocks
• N is shown to love dogs and his favorite is golden retrievers
